Upgrading is very straightforward unless Database Upgrades are needed.

Upgrading the installation

• Backup the definitions file to a secure location.
• Copy the new files over the old installtion.
• Restore the definitions file to its previous location.
• Load up the website to see if you get any errors.
  

The site has now been upgraded to the latest version. Any errors that might arise come from files that have moved or renamed or the database has changed and you need to run queries to fix it.
